One of the many things we LOVE about Chattanooga is the abundance of things to do not just this weekend, but every weekend. This weekend we wanted to highlight Chattanooga’s top events for celebrating the 4th of July.
4th of July Weekend in Chattanooga 2023
- Chattanooga Lookouts: 6/30 & 7/3: The Chattanooga Lookouts are home and playing the TN Smokies all weekend long with special promotions at each game including fireworks for two!
- Soddy Daisy Independence Festival 7/1: Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 942 is hosting a spectacular Independence Day celebration at the Soddy Lake & Municipal Park July 1st starting at 9:00AM. Enjoy plenty of entertainment and fun for the whole family with food trucks, live performances, local venders, car show, and more. Fireworks will begin after dark.
- Red White and Blueberries Chattanooga Market 7/2: We love the Chattanooga Market and seeing the different themes of each week and we are SO excited for this one. The market begins at 11AM and ends at 4PM. This weekend will be filled with berries and a pie eating contest!
- Collegedale Freedom Celebration 7/3: The City of Collegedale is about 30 minutes outside of Chattanooga and surely one you don’t want to miss. They will be celebrating at the commons with live music, food trucks, and fireworks!
- Red White and Moon Bash at the Edwin 7/3: Chattanooga’s one of a kind hotel, The Edwin is hosting a Red White and Moon Bash from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM. $20 will get you in to enjoy food and drink specials, a DJ, and a perfect view of the Chattanooga Lookouts fireworks display.
- Lake Winnie 7/4: Visit Lake Winnie for family fun then stay on the 4th for their firework show starting at 10:00PM!
- 4th of July Fireworks show at Bradley Square Mall 7/4: After dark Mt. Olive Ministries presents a firework show sponsored by Cleveland For & City of Cleveland. There will be synchronized music by 104.1. Be sure to get their early to park on the east side of the mall for the best view.
- Fun on the 4th in Miller Plaza 7/4: Chattanooga Presents in Downtown Chattanooga at Miller Park and Miller Plaza Fun on the 4th from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM with a variety of bands, local vendors, art, and a laser show. This event is free and sponsored by Chattanooga Tourism Company with support from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and Budweiser
- The Creative Discovery Museum’s Red White and Blue Day 7/4: The Creative Discovery Museum is hosting a Fourth of July celebration just for the kids! Not only will patriotic fun be included, but also a picnic and exploring the historical reason for the holiday. Visit from 12:00-4:00 for crafts and activities, dance party begins at 2:00 and the friendly fireworks and balloon drop is at 2:30PM.
