‘Tis the season for decorating!
It’s November first and you have two options: take down Halloween and decorate for Thanksgiving or skip right to Christmas. How do you choose? Some people feel strongly about NOT missing out on Thanksgiving, where others woke up today decking the halls with lights and holly. There are pro’s and con’s to each.
Thanksgiving its own special time to shine! This is especially true if you are hosting for Thanksgiving. Decorating for Thanksgiving can add warmth and a festive atmosphere to your home, and show your appreciation for the holiday. Some simple decorations could include a fall wreath for your front door, a cornucopia centerpiece for your dining table, or some autumnal-colored candles. Thanksgiving decor can also be more neutral with browns and tans, a great back drop for future Christmas decorating.
On the other hand some people are ready for SANTA! Is this you? The earlier Christmas can be set up the better. There is SO Much that goes into Christmas decorating and for a lot of people it can take a good bit of time to get everything set up. Christmas also brings a sense of joy to a cold and sometimes dreary season so getting a head start on the decorating can bring added joy and excitement.
